Rounded values, as showing on aidsinfo.unaids.org and the 2025 Global AIDS Update, are recommended for use in all narrative and other public reports.
The use of unrounded estimates (i.e. original Spectrum estimates) is recommended for calculations (e.g. rates or ratios), when constructing or deriving new indicators (e.g. coverage relative to need), or for producing graphs. Unrounded values are the original Spectrum estimates.
